WHERE IS INFO-IN-IMAGES ?

Info-in-Images is an independent company based near Cambridge in the east of England.

DOES INFO-IN-IMAGES SUPPLY SYSTEMS AND SERVICES OUTSIDE THE UK?

Yes. Info-in-Images has supplied hundreds of imaging systems around the world.

We can arrange special packing when necessary and provide the relevant documentation for a wide range of destinations.

WHY ARE THERE NO PRICES SHOWN IN THE WEBSITE ?

The prices of systems and services vary, depending on the detailed specification, the location of the client, the payment currency, the exchange rate, the number of systems required, whether installation and training is required, the length of the warranty, import duty, the local taxes and the payment terms.

We always offer great value for money.

Please ask for a detailed price. We will be pleased to provide a quotation for your specific needs.

CAN INFO-IN-IMAGES PROVIDE A DEMONSTRATION ?

Yes, we can demonstrate systems.

Due to logistical and safety considerations we prefer to arrange initial demonstrations on-line.

If you wish imaging test to be conducted using specific samples, please contact us to arrange a delivery point.

Often our existing clients are happy to show their systems to new users. This can be a valuable way of gaining experience of the system as well as verifying the great service provided by Info-in-Images.

WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT TERMS FOR THE SYSTEMS ?

The standard terms of payment are shown in our Terms and Conditions of Business. In general, 50% of the quoted price is to be paid when the system or service is ordered and the 50% balance upon shipping.

HOW CAN I PAY FOR THE SYSTEMS ?

Most of our clients pay against an invoice using an electronic bank transfer (wire payment). Payment can also be made via cheque (check).

We do not accept credit cards or payment, such as PayPal.

Our company bank account details are shown on our invoices.

CAN I PAY IN LOCAL CURRENCY ?

Yes, we accept payment in most currencies.

Our local currencies are UK-Pounds (GBP) and US dollars (USD).

Please let us know which currency in which you wish to pay when requesting a quotation.

DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS FOR INDIVIDUALS, EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENTS, CHARITABLE ORGANISATIONS OR VOLUNTARY BODIES?

We do not have a discount structure for such establishments.

We offer the same great value to all of our customers.

We occasionally have ex-demonstration equipment that we do discount. Please ask us if this is available for your specific needs.

DO YOU PROVIDE DISCOUNTS FOR QUANTITIES ?

Yes, we can provide reduced prices where savings can be made on quantities from our suppliers and where packing and shipping costs can be reduced.

Please let us know the quantity that you need when requesting a quotation.

ARE ALL SYSTEMS PROVIDED WITH A WARRANTY ?

Yes, all systems are provided with a 12-months warranty from the date of delivery.

An extended warranty can be arranged. Please ask for details when requesting a quotation.

DOES INFO-IN-IMAGES MANUFACTURE ALL THE SYSTEMS SHOWN IN THE WEBSITE ?

Info-in-Images is a supplier of imaging systems manufactured by a carefully selected series of companies around the world.

Info-in-Images does design and manufacture some specialised accessories for the systems, which are not otherwise available.

Info-in-Images provides installation and operational training for clients, which is often more extensive than that available from major manufactures.

ARE ALL INFO-IN-IMAGES SYSTEMS MADE IN THE UK ?

No. Whilst some are designed and manufactured locally in the UK, specialised components are sourced from expert companies worldwide, including EU and North America.

DO YOU HAVE ENGINEERS TO PROVIDE SUPPORT AND SERVICING OF THE SYSTEMS?

Yes, we provide local service in the UK, EU & North America using direct or specialist qualified engineers.

Often this service is delivered at the client site and sometimes at a local service centre, depending on the location and the system(s) involved.

If necessary, the system can be returned to the relevant manufacturer for more detailed support.

Such specialist engineers can also provide servicing of imaging systems that have not been supplied by Info-in-Images. In this case, please provide model details, so that a quotation can be provided.

WHEN A SYSTEM REQUIRES A DESKTOP OR LAPTOP COMPUTER, CAN YOU SUPPLY THIS ?

Yes, we have supplied many computers. We prefer to supply Hewlett Packard models as they are provided with an international 2-year on-site warranty. The H-P support network is worldwide and knowledgeable engineers provide such cover.

WHEN A SYSTEM REQUIRES A DISPLAY MONITOR , CAN YOU SUPPLY THIS ?

Yes, we can supply monitors for all of the systems that we provide.

Different size monitors, with HD and UHD resolution are available together with stands and support brackets.

As the range of sizes and specific make and models change frequently, we provide individual quotations depending on the required configuration.

We can even provide specialist displays that are dust and water-proof.

CAN YOU PROVIDE CUSTOM DESIGNED DISPLAYS INCORPORATING VIDEO MICROSCOPES FOR PUBLIC OR EDUCATIONAL VENUES ?

We work with a network of specialist display designers that produce such customs booths.

These include single and multiple displays as well as supports for the microscopes.

Transparent Sample Turntables and Remote control of the microscope can also be incorporated in order to protect the displayed samples and provide an interactive visitor experience.

DOES INFO-IN-IMAGES PROVIDE CONTRACT IMAGING SERVICES ?

Whilst contract imaging services are not the main business of Info-in-Images, we can sometimes arrange for such work to be conducted.

CAN YOU PROVIDE ON-SITE CONTRACT IMAGING USING MULTISPECTRAL TECHNOLOGY ?

Info-in-Images does not provide this service directly, but our partner company does conduct such work on-site or in the restoration studio using its team of qualified restoration and imaging technicians. This work can be a single important and historical document, a wall painting or a hanging work of art.

The team can also conduct restoration works following pigment and spectral analysis of a document or artwork.

We will be pleased to arrange such a service for you.

CAN INFO-IN-IMAGES PROVIDE MICROSCOPES THAT ARE NOT SHOWN IN ITS WEBSITE ?

Info-in-Images enjoys good relationships with many microscope companies, consequently has the ability to supply microscopes from different ranges.
